I noticed that on the MoCA adapters, the ethernet cord can back out ever so slightly from the port, though I'm unsure if that's the case for all ethernet ports to have a little bit of play in them.Please use the search function to look for keywords related to what you want to ask before posting since most common issues have been answered. It does not matter whether I am connected directly from the MoCA -> Computer or MoCA -> Switch -> Computer. Some of the lights on the MoCA adapter turn off when the connection stops, and then about 30 seconds later will reconnect. While I understand that that may seem like a router issue, I just have a feeling it has something to do with the MoCA adapters and wanted some insight. Since purchasing my RT-AX86U, I have been experiencing some frequent dropping of connection no matter what ethernet port I choose on the back of the router. I am using a BAMF 6 Way Coaxial Cable Splitter to split my Coax to my modem and the MoCA. To start, I have an ASUS RT-AX86U and a Hitron Bonded MoCA 2.5 Adapter in a standard configuration (I am in the Room 2 configuration if that's any help).
